She has been a constant help from the founding members the Marine Environment Society (“Sociedad Ambiente Marino, SAM) since 2001, coordinating many of its marine conservation projects, research activities and coral reef rehabilitation program. She is participating of SAM’s Community-Based Coral Aquaculture and Reef Rehabilitation Program since 2003, the most extensive and continuous coral farming and reef rehabilitation program of the eastern Caribbean. Have received training on biological characterization and inventories, marine mitigations and benthic habitat restoration activities.
At present, she still collaborating in multiple projects regarding coral farming, coral reef rehabilitation, marine mitigation of environmental impacts, and coral reef cross-scale research activities associated to: Coral farming and reef ecological rehabilitation.
